Loch Lomond Online

Welcome to Loch Lomond.

The largest inland waterway in Great Britain (in terms of surface area), Loch Lomond is 24 miles long and 5 miles wide. It forms a substantial part of the ‘Loch Lomond and Trossachs National Park’, which was Scotland’s first national park.

The wild beauty of the Loch and its surrounding landscape has attracted all manner of visitors over the years, and it is featured in a number of songs (“The Bonnie Banks O’ Loch Lomond”), books (“Rob Roy”), films (from “Brigadoon” to “Spaceballs”) and paintings (FE Jamieson, C John Taylor).
